About the TikTok Creators Money Challenge

Our purpose

The primary and fundamental purpose of the TikTok Creators Money Challenge is to mobilise resources, raise public awareness, and secure vital funding to establish and sustain our local NGO — Standing By Migrant Organization — dedicated to the support, education and reintegration of Ethiopian migrants.

Every registration fee paid by a competitor and every vote purchased by a vote giver contributes directly to building a stronger, safer future for vulnerable migrants.

Where the money goes

Funds raised are strictly allocated toward:

• Education & skills training — access to educational resources, vocational training and professional skills development.
• Reintegration support — social adaptation, psychological support and community reintegration programmes for those returning home.
• Sustainable infrastructure — the physical and operational systems that make long-term, continuous assistance possible for affected individuals and their families.

By registering as a competitor or purchasing a vote, you acknowledge and directly support this charitable mission.

How the challenge works

Creators enter themselves and our team reviews each entry against the real TikTok profile before it appears publicly. Anyone can then vote — as many times as they like — and the live leaderboard shows where every creator stands.

Prizes, per category

The 30,000-vote threshold

The challenge runs to a minimum platform-wide goal of 30,000 votes. If that target is not reached within one month, the challenge automatically extends until it is. Winners are not announced or paid until the goal is met.

Fairness

• Every entry is checked by a person before it appears publicly.
• Vote counts come only from confirmed payments — a pending or failed payment never moves a number.
• The leaderboard is public throughout and frozen when the challenge ends.
• Fraudulent voting, bots or manipulation lead to immediate disqualification without refund.

Payments

Every payment is processed through Chapa, a licensed Ethiopian payment provider. We never see or store your card or mobile-money credentials.

Standing By Migrant Organization (ስታንዲንግ ባይ ማይግራንት አርጋናይዜሽን) works alongside migrants and their families — people who have left home in search of safety or a living, and those who have returned.

Our emblem shows both halves of that journey: the outward road and the road home, held between two hands.
